As with many Land Rovers the 2000 AD Taxi was built with chewing gum and sticky tape (not sellotape as this is a brand label and was found to be too strong at bonding).
There was a silver edition made for lazy people who couldn't be bothered washing their car. Conversley, as they had less contact with water, they lasted about a month longer than the other coloured vehicles. Silver is still a popular choice particularly in the Discovery where a combination of laziness and lack of imagination drove sales. Judge Dredd recently refused to give an interview in relation to the 2000 AD Taxi simply stating that having been to the Freelander 2 rooftop launch he was now very busy trying to get the back doors open on Maria Sharipova. |
